Alia Dadabhai, M.D. began her training with an undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. She subsequently completed an Internal Medicine residency at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Dadabhai returned to Philadelphia to specialize in Gastroenterology at Temple University Hospital where she served as Chief Fellow in her final year. Dr. Dadabhai has particular interests in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Hepatology. She has also been trained in capsule endoscopy, esophageal manometry, and pH/BRAVO study evaluation.
She comes with high recommendations from her mentors at Temple University as an “outstanding gastroenterologist with an extensive fund of knowledge and procedural competency”. In fact, one of her faculty members expressed having no hesitation in having his/her colonoscopy done by her. Dr. Dadabhai is said to have a “passionate commitment to excellent care of her patients”. She has worked with nationally and internationally well known gastroenterologists at Temple University including Dr. Joel Richter. Dr. Dadabhai has contributed to published literature and has presented at several national meetings in her field. She also did volunteer work in underdeveloped regions of Africa.
